Huineng says, "Samadhi and Prajna are fundamental. But do not be under the wrong impression that these two are independent of each other...To hold such an opinion would imply that there are two characteristics in the Dharma."
Zen Master Seung Sahn says, ""Samadhi has no cause, no effect, no karma, no enlightenment, no I, nothing at all..."
Leave your "I" at the door and experience Samadhi/Prajna, but don't call them a thing!
